NEW VENUE: All dance classes will be at our new venue in the Stoke Methodist Hall, 94 Neale Ave Stoke. It is a beautiful space and I know we’re all going to feel right at home there. There isn’t a lounge space there but there is a big wide carpeted hallway that people can utilise and of course kitchen and bathroom facilities.
NEW CLASS: There is a new contemporary modern jazz (CMJ) class at 4pm on Wednesday which is perfect for our grade 3 and new grade 4 students. It is just 30 minutes long and will give students a great introduction to this strong but beautiful style of dance. INTRO OFFER: pay $180 for a combo of grade 3/4 ballet and this CMJ class. Type ballet & intro cmj when enrolling to secure your space!
TEACHER TRAINEES: I’m delighted to announce that a number of my senior students will be joining my teacher training programme this year. For existing families, you will be used to seeing the ‘big girls’ in class, them attending classes will be a part of their training. I know our younger students will be very pleased to hear this!

parents viewing classes
I encourage parents to drop off and pick up (with the exception of preschool and new students). Parents are welcome to view classes but this new hall is not set up with lots of chairs like our last one. I ask you to please not talk during the lesson time. We are fortunate to have plenty of space in the entranceway so if you wish to talk or have siblings with you please use these alternative spaces. It’s just too distracting for the students and I so I thank you for your support with this.
Presentation
Please make sure your child comes to dancing with their uniform, hair done neatly, and a drink bottle.
philosophy
At Jane Pascoe Movement, we nurture children’s love of dance in a supportive environment and promote good posture, poise, strength and creativity while striving to develop confident, kind and self-assured individuals. Co-operation, positive attitudes and kindness are key at our place and use of these will be celebrated!
